Having owned and operated 3 successful businesses Barb has worked many trade shows herself, networked through community involvement on boards and committees and understands the power of non-verbal communication.  Barb's businesses have been recognized in several categories from marketing excellence, customer service, community involvement and as a woman entrepreneur, to the Athena Award for personal and professional excellence in leadership.

          Barb has facilitated workshops for small business owners, crown corporations, government departments both at the federal and provincial level, as well as for membership driven organizations.  She also speaks at trade shows and networking events, sharing her expertise and experience in an educational and entertaining style.
